On 01 June 2022 Leverhulme Estates submitted 7 planning applications to build on our greenbelt. The applications cover various sites across the Wirral. As of today (05 August 2022) none of these applications have been dealt with by the Planning Committee. There is only 1 more Planning Committee meeting, in early September, if these applications are not heard at this meeting then on 21 September 2022 Leverhulme Estates will be able to bypass the Wirral Council Planning Committee and go straight to appeal.
We cannot allow this to happen. We urge every single resident to write to those councillors who sit on the Planning Committee and voice their concerns ensuring that Wirral Council Planning Committee hear these applicaitons before non-determination (21 September 2022).
